By D Speller, on March 4th, 2012 I was sitting and thinking recently about the verse that talks about being able to take what was meant for evil and making it / turning it into good. Genesis 50:20 actually reads, “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” This passage in its context was describing how Joseph, even though his brothers had sold him into slavery, had risen to a position of power.
I began imagining what this meant «Continue reading Turning Evil Into Good»

This article is primarily about how people in general should revisit Math. I am—so, I thought I would invite you to do the same too. Years ago in high school, I didn’t think I was that great at certain types of math because, at the time, I didn’t see a need for it. In real life—it turns out that I was better at certain applications of math when I focused on it to find the relevant answers.
The cool thing about math is that it is never too late to learn it and apply what you have learned. I have been lazy «Continue reading Two to the Third Power Equals Eight»
By D Speller, on February 15th, 2012 During this lead up into the 2012 elections, I think both parties—Republicans and Democrats, are missing opportunities to work together for the American people.
Time is slowly ticking away while they bicker and argue about minute differences in many of the policies they seek to implement. Republicans fail to see the benefit in many of the policies passed over the last few years; and instead of working to make what they consider ‘flawed’ policies better—they want to repeal and replace…everything.
Democrats, on the other hand sometime seem to eat their own when some criticize the efforts of others to reduce the budget and or make cuts in areas where wasteful spending are identified. Amid all the chaos, the American people are waiting to be served. I think it would cool if people from both sides had a revelation that working together would be the best way forward—and proceeded to do so without delay. That would be almost scary, but oh so cool.□

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. --Romans 12:2 "
Daily Thought Verse: Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world, a city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
